Beauty | VB x Estee Lauder - Chilean Sunset Lipstick

Since my last post on Double Wear, the Victoria Beckham A/W collection has landed locally at Fenwick, Newcastle! Not just makeup either clothes, handbags and sunglasses too! I wasn't expecting to make a purchase so this lipstick post is a little unplanned.

It's been months in the pipeline, it's been talked about worldwide, and if you didn't know already - Victoria Beckham has done a makeup collaboration with Estee Lauder. 

When I think about all the things Victoria is famous for, I don't ever remember thinking...ooh I love Victoria's lipstick or Mascara. But I do know her for flawlessness and perfection. 

Victoria has the ability to turn her hand to anything and can reinvent her image at a drop of a hat but always seems to get it right. 

I took a closer look at some of the makeup on Saturday after swooning over all the clothing and accessories when the red lipstick caught my eye!

The sales assistant offered for me to try it on and I wouldn't usually but my friends said.. try it, you will regret it. So before I knew it I was trying the lipstick on! It was dangerous place to be..I always look at the price tag before I try clothing on.

After walking round the store for a little while, looking in a few mirrors, I went back to the counter to purchase. 

Maybe it was the story of the size of the lipstick that sold it to me.. 'small enough to put in your clutch bag'.

Or maybe it was it was the perfect orangey red 'Chilean Sunset' I had been looking for but I purchased and I LOVE it! 

It goes on so nicely, stays put and that gold casing is just beautiful.

I decided I needed a lipliner to go with it, so I popped to Boots next door and picked up the perfect shade from NYX in 'Summer Tease'. 

AND....if you are not wanting to spend lots but you love the colour this Vivid Matte Liquid Lipstick from Maybelline in 'Orange Shot' is a pretty good dupe! It's amazing what you find in your makeup draw.
